Product description

The iSolutions™MonkeyPox Fullplex qPCR kit is a ready-to-use qualitative qPCR detection kit for the specific and simultaneous amplification of DNA from subspecies of Monkeypox virus (MPXV) and Orthopoxviruses, responsible for simian othopoxvirosis, also known as monkeypox. It enables differentiation between the Central African clade and the West African clade.

Validated by the Centre National de Référence des Orthopox viruses, the iSolutions™MonkeyPox Fullplex qPCR kit is intended for research use only (RUO).

The kit must be used with previously extracted nucleic acid samples. Recommended matrices for Monkeypox virus testing are :

mucocutaneous samples, including biopsies or swabs of mucosal or cutaneous lesions
ENT samples, including oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal swabs
semi-deep and deep respiratory samples
cerebrospinal fluid samples.

Thanks to its universal PCR program, the kit is compatible with all products in the iSolutions™ range.
