🌍 🎗️ In collaboration with the World Health Organization, World Cancer Day is an initiative of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), an organization that brings together over 1,200 institutions in 172 countries worldwide. For more than 20 years, this day has aimed to raise awareness of major public health issues, such as advances in cancer research, prevention and screening. The 2024 World Cancer Day campaign is particularly committed to ensuring more equitable access to care worldwide, and to encouraging international leaders to make this a priority health cause.
