IDQUANTd is a ready-to-use digital PCR detection and quantification (dPCR) kit for amplifying a human genome target sequence at a rate of one copy per haploid genome.
This duplex absolute quantification system enables simultaneous amplification of extracted circulating free DNA (cf-DNA) and exogenous internal control (ICE*) for each sample.
Normalization with the ICE control can only be performed if the DNA has been extracted using the controls supplied in the IDXtract or IDXtract-MAG extraction kit (for all other systems, please consult us). The ICE control makes it possible to assess the extraction efficiency of the target for each sample, and to normalize inter-assay fluctuations for the same donor when monitoring over time.
Calibration with ICE is validated for circulating free DNA extracted with the IDXtract or IDXtract-MAG kit, and can be used with other extraction solutions (validations required).
IDQUANTd can also be used without ICE to detect and quantify cf-DNA.
